1.3.4. Folds, wrinkles, polished spots and stripes, tears in the edges of the paper, and holes are not allowed in tracing paper.

Inconspicuous folds, wrinkles, stains that cannot be detected during the manufacturing process of tracing paper are allowed if the rate of these intra-roll defects, determined according to GOST 13525.5, does not exceed 1.0%.

1.3.5. The clearance of the tracing paper must be uniform and correspond to the sample agreed upon between the manufacturer and the consumer.

1.3.6. Winding of rolls and bobbins of tracing paper should be tight and uniform across the entire width. The end of the paper sheet should not be glued.

1.3.7. One sheet break is allowed per roll of tracing paper.

The ends of the paper sheet in places of breaks must be firmly glued together across the entire width of the reel or roll, without gluing adjacent layers. The distance from the edge to the gluing point on each side should not exceed 10 mm. Places of gluing must be marked with colored signals visible from the end of the reel.

1.3.8. The number of glues in a reel of tracing paper should be no more than: one – for a diameter of 190-200 mm;

three – for diameter 300-650 mm.

1.3.9. The edges must be cut smooth and clean.

At the consumer’s request, tracing paper is made without cutting edges.

1.3.10. The ink should lie on the tracing paper in an even layer, the lines should not be interrupted.

1.3.10.1. Lines drawn with ink across a once and evenly cleaned area should not spread.

4. Marking

1.4.1. Marking – in accordance with GOST 1641, transport marking – in accordance with GOST 14192 with the following additions.

1.4.2. Each roll or reel is affixed with a label containing the following data: trademark and name of the manufacturer;

product name; width of the roll or reel; mass of tracing paper with an area of ​​1 m2; warning sign “Do not throw”; designation of this standard.

1.4.3. Each pack of rolls is affixed with a label containing the data in accordance with clause 1.4.2 and additionally the number of rolls in the pack, as well as the production date.

1.4.4. A label is attached to each pack of sheet tracing paper indicating:

trademark and name of the manufacturer;

product names;

size and number of sheets;

symbols of this standard.

5. Packaging

1.5.1. Packaging in rolls and reels – in accordance with GOST 1641 with the following additions.

1.5.2. Rolls and reels of tracing paper must be wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273 with careful sealing of the ends. The bobbins must be pre-wrapped in wax paper or other waterproof material.

1.5.3. The packaged rolls are placed in bundles and wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273 with a paper weight of at least 100-120 g per square meter. The bundle is tied with twine. The weight of the pack should not exceed 15 kg.

1.5.4. Sheet tracing paper is packaged in accordance with GOST 6658. Packs of tracing paper, consisting of 250 and 500 sheets, before packaging are laid on top and bottom with cardboard grade T in accordance with GOST 7376 and wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper grade A or B in accordance with GOST 8273 with a paper weight of 1 m2 of at least 80 g. The gross weight of the bale should be no more than 30 kg.

1.5.5. Packaging of tracing paper intended for export must comply with the requirements of foreign economic organizations.

Parchment

Aka baking paper for baking. These are cellulose (porous) products that have been treated with a 50% sulfuric acid solution. Due to chemical reactions, such a material becomes resistant to high temperatures. In addition, it does not get wet from liquid, but at the same time perfectly absorbs fat. Designed for repeated use – up to 5 times.

In most cases, parchment does not need to be additionally lubricated with vegetable oil before use. This is especially true in the case of shortcrust pastry and baked goods, which themselves contain large amounts of it. When the temperature rises, the fat that will release the product will ensure processing.

But if you are dealing with delicate and non-greasy dough, then the baking paper can be pre-greased with a thin layer of vegetable oil using a pastry brush. Then the baked goods will not dry out from below.

ACCEPTANCE

2.1. Determination of the batch and sample size – according to GOST 8047.

2.2. If unsatisfactory results are obtained for at least one of the indicators, repeated tests are carried out on a double sample.

3 types of baking paper

Parchment with silicone

All papers presented are FSC and ISO 9706 certified (durable or long lasting paper). They are designed taking into account the specifics of offset, silk screen and flexography printing, and have shown excellent results in post-printing processing. Tracing paper produced by the Fedrigoni concern has proven itself in Russia. Over the past 20 years, it has pleased Russian printers with the quality and high technology of the material, and designers and artists with its original appearance and a wide selection of possible applications.

Drawings on tracing paper

Designs for embroidery and other occasions can be easily and quickly copied using tracing paper. Just place it on the image and secure it. Then draw the contour lines with a pencil or ink; if a little, you can use a ballpoint pen and liner. Colors and shades are applied later.

The side of the tracing paper with the ink design is applied to the wetted wood or leather. This is what tattoo artists and wood carvers do. The image is mirrored. Needlewomen additionally use carbon paper or simply fasten the paper to the fabric and embroider on it using satin stitch, placing stitches on top.

Tracing paper can replace a canvas for an artist. Drawings are copied and colors are applied with watercolor paint, pencils and ink. The image turns out bright against a translucent background and looks great.

Butter buns

Fans of homemade baking often encounter such a nuisance as burning. In addition, products with filling often leave black fried marks on the baking sheet, which are quite difficult to wash off. If you know how to use parchment for baking buns, this problem can be easily avoided.

If you decide to make buns at home, you should get parchment paper. The sheet is spread on a dry and clean baking sheet, if necessary, the protruding edges are trimmed and greased with vegetable oil. The dough is placed on parchment and left to rise in a warm place.

If you need to quickly prepare baked goods and there is no way to buy special paper, it can be easily replaced.

  1. You can use tracing paper instead of parchment. It is often used when sewing or drawing. This paper is thinner but has similar quality to processed pulp. Having covered the baking sheet, it must be coated with oil or fat.
  2. Foil, also greased with oil, is often used as a substitute for parchment. However, you should carefully monitor the baking. Thin metallized paper can increase the temperature, thereby speeding up the cooking process.
  3. Recently, many housewives have been using silicone baking products. These are all kinds of rugs, bread molds,
    cookies, cakes. Using them in the kitchen, you can do without parchment.
  4. Use the tools at your disposal to effectively replace baking paper. Notebook, landscape, oiled sheets, baking sleeve, treated with fat. Even a foil wrapper for butter can successfully replace popular paper.

To avoid troubles, do not use newspapers, cardboard, plastic bags, or plain paper for baking without pre-oiling.

This standard applies to paper tracing paper intended for copying drawings in ink and electrophotography, followed by copying onto photosensitive diazotype materials, manufactured for the needs of the national economy and export.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. Tracing paper must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to technological documentation approved in the prescribed manner.

2. Main parameters and dimensions

1.2.1. Tracing paper should be produced in rolls, reels and sheets.

The dimensions of the rolled tracing paper should be:

length of tracing paper in a roll is 40.0 and 100.0 m with a maximum deviation of ±1%;

roll width – 878 mm with maximum deviation ±5 mm.

The dimensions of tracing paper in reels should be:

bobbin width (310±5), (425±5), (625±5) mm;

bobbin diameter 190–200, 300–650 mm.

The dimensions of sheet tracing paper are set to: 440×640, 320×440, 220×320 mm with maximum deviations of ±5 mm.

1.2.2. At the request of the consumer, tracing paper is made in other sizes.

    1.3.4. Folds, wrinkles, polished spots and stripes, tears in the edges of the paper, and holes are not allowed in tracing paper.

    Inconspicuous folds, wrinkles, spots that cannot be detected during the manufacturing process of tracing paper are allowed if the rate of these intra-roll defects, determined according to GOST 13525.5, does not exceed 1.0%.

    1.3.5. The clearance of the tracing paper must be uniform and correspond to the sample agreed upon between the manufacturer and the consumer.

    1.3.6. Winding of rolls and bobbins of tracing paper should be tight and uniform across the entire width. The end of the paper sheet should not be glued.

    1.3.7. One sheet break is allowed per roll of tracing paper.

    The ends of the paper sheet in places where there are breaks must be firmly glued together across the entire width of the reel or roll, without gluing adjacent layers. The distance from the edge to the gluing point on each side should not exceed 10 mm. Places of gluing must be marked with colored signals visible from the end of the reel.

    1.3.8. The number of glues in a reel of tracing paper should be no more than: one – for a diameter of 190-200 mm;

    three – for diameter 300-650 mm.

      1.3.9. The edges must be cut smooth and clean.

    • At the consumer’s request, tracing paper is made without cutting edges.

    • 1.3.10. The ink should lie on the tracing paper in an even layer, the lines should not be interrupted.

    • 1.3.10.1. Lines drawn with ink across a once and evenly cleaned area should not spread.

    • 4. Marking
    • 1.4.1. Marking – in accordance with GOST 1641, transport marking – in accordance with GOST 14192 with the following additions.

      size and number of sheets;

      symbols of this standard.

      5. Packaging

      1.5.1. Packaging in rolls and reels – in accordance with GOST 1641 with the following additions.

      1.5.2. Rolls and reels of tracing paper must be wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273 with careful sealing of the ends. The bobbins must be pre-wrapped in wax paper or other waterproof material.

      1.5.3. Packed rolls are placed in bundles and wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273 with a mass of paper with an area of ​​1 m 2
      at least 100-120 g. The pack is tied with twine. The weight of the pack should not exceed 15 kg.

      1.5.4. Sheet tracing paper is packaged in accordance with GOST 6658. Packs of tracing paper, consisting of 250 and 500 sheets, before packaging are laid on top and bottom with cardboard grade T in accordance with GOST 7376 and wrapped in three layers of wrapping paper grade A or B in accordance with GOST 8273 with a paper weight of 1 m2 2

      1.5.5. Packaging of tracing paper intended for export must comply with the requirements of foreign economic organizations.

      ACCEPTANCE

      2.1. Determination of the batch and sample size – according to GOST 8047.

      2.2. If unsatisfactory results are obtained for at least one of the indicators, repeated tests are carried out on a double sample.

      The results of repeated tests apply to the entire batch.

      TEST METHODS

      3.1. Sampling and preparation of samples for testing – according to GOST 8047.

      3.2. Conditioning of tracing paper samples before testing and their testing is in accordance with GOST 13523 at relative air humidity (65±2)% and temperature (20±1) °C*. Conditioning duration – at least 2 hours

      3.3. When determining dirtiness, debris is counted on one side of the tracing paper sample.

      Is it possible to replace parchment paper with foil? Yes, you can! Foil is made from aluminum alloy by cold or hot rolling. Absolutely safe. Does not contain toxic elements. Subject to disinfection during high-temperature firing. Often used for cooking in the oven.

      Benefits:

      • dense;
      • easily takes the desired shape;
      • moisture resistance;
      • reasonable price.

      Disadvantages:

      • baked goods often stick;
      • does not protect well from burning when baked at high temperatures;
      • increases the dough temperature;
      • cannot be reused.

      Baking dish

      This option is suitable for those cases when sponge cakes and cakes are baked. Baking dishes are available in different sizes. They protect well from burning the flour product from below. But they are not always convenient to use. Baking dishes are sold in all hardware stores.

      Is burning paper environmentally friendly?

      Is paper ash poisonous?

      It is not recommended to use paper incense ash in the soil as fertilizer, since its production process is unknown. You may be adding unknown chemicals, which may be toxic, to your growing media.
