• it is necessary to carry out the initial sorting yourself – magazines are collected separately, books – separately, etc.;
• the stack of documents for disposal should not contain office supplies (paper clips, binders, etc.);
• books are sent for recycling without covers.

The main condition is to comply with the requirements of organizations receiving waste. So, some points work with legal entities. They collect waste paper only on an industrial scale.

Double-pipe paper steamer

Having mastered the simplest model of a paper boat, you can set your sights on assembling a more complex craft. Try folding a three-dimensional steamboat with two pipes to your child’s delight. It’s just as easy to make as the previous model, but in this case you’ll have to stock up on scissors.

Stage 1. You need to cut a square from a sheet of A4 paper. To do this, fold one of the corners diagonally and cut off the excess strip.

Stage 2. Fold the resulting square along the second diagonal, they should intersect exactly in the center of the figure.

Stage 3. Gently bend each corner of the square towards the center.

Stage 4. Turn the resulting square over to the other side. Repeat the manipulation with bending the corners.

5 Stage. Turn the square over again and fold all its corners towards the center for the third time.

6 Stage. Turn the workpiece over. You see 4 pockets on the corners of the square. Reveal two of them, necessarily opposite ones. So the two pipes stated in the description appeared.

7 Stage. Grab the inner corners of the unopened pockets and move them apart – the long-awaited steamer has opened.

This, of course, is not the Titanic: it had as many as 4 funnels, although one of them was purely decorative. But our two-pipe boat is also capable of withstanding serious sailing. Hurry up, fill the bathtub with water and send him on a journey.

If you put together the craft with your children, allow them to decorate it to their liking before launching the boat. The child will be happy to turn a paper ship into a masterpiece of modern shipbuilding.

Making a sailboat out of paper

If you want the boat to have a beautiful sail, you will need a square sheet. Also prepare pencil glue.

To make a sailboat out of paper with your own hands, proceed as follows:

1. First fold the square in the vertical and horizontal directions. This will help you find the folds in the future.
2. Fold the right and left edges to the vertical axis. Bring the top and bottom to the middle horizontal line too.
3. To make the sides of the boat, spread the corners of the workpiece. First, unscrew the corner on the top right. Iron the bottom fold diagonally. Then go over the top of the figure.

7. Run glue along the bow to attach the port side to the starboard side.

We make a panel “autumn forest” with our own hands for children in grades 1,2,3 and 4

For schoolchildren, we need something more labor-intensive and no less beautiful. Therefore, I propose to depict a forest. But I want to start by making this type of panel.

We offer you the most common paper boat design. It is these sharp-nosed beauties that boldly plow the expanses of spring puddles and streams. Making them is a matter of a couple of minutes. And the pleasure of watching your own creation swim will delight not only the child.

Stock up on a sheet of A4 paper and patience – it’s time to start constructing a simple model of a boat. Our detailed photo instructions will help you quickly launch your first boat.

Step 1. Fold the sheet in half along the wide side. Bend it again along the wide side to mark the middle.

The second version of a paper boat is a little more complicated, but it’s fun to make. The craft is suitable for preschoolers of the middle and older age groups. The work requires stationery scissors and a paper square.

How to make a motor boat step by step:

To create a work mark, bend the square along the horizontal axis. Straighten it.

Bring each half to the main axis. Straighten it.

Gently press out the crease. Lifting the sheet, place it on the 3rd fold in turn. Fold it over carefully.

Place the workpiece vertically. Point both corners that are on top towards the longitudinal axis.

• Bend the same corners again. Gently run your finger along the folds.
• After changing the position of the workpiece, wrap the lower part towards the main horizontal axis.
• Change the position again, bend the right corner from below towards the middle axis.

• Fold the top working area down.
• Turning the paper product over, fold it twice across the work area to create an accordion-like shape. Finish exactly at the center fold of the square.

• Place the future motorboat so that the folds are in the lower right part.
• Bend both corners located on top to the existing vertical fold. Fold the same corners again on the right and left.

• After changing the position of the workpiece, bend the lower corner towards the middle axis. Direct the upper part down to the same line.

• Open one of the sides of the future motorboat. Fold the corner to match the existing back corner, then close. Do similar manipulations with the other part of the product. Close it too.

• Carefully open the motor boat.

Cardboard processing

Recycling cardboard at home is a simple process. To do this, you will need a blender, a rectangular frame and a container of the same shape. You will also need a mosquito net, a piece of cloth and a sponge.

First you need to make a special screen based on a mesh and frame. If you don’t have time for this, you can use a metal rod or a photo frame. You can use tape or a stapler to secure the mesh.

The next step is shredding the cardboard. To do this, you need to tear the raw material manually and place it in a container with hot water. As a result, a mass is formed that consists of cellulose. This substance must be placed in a container.

It is also necessary to place a screen in the container on which the cellulose should settle. The settled components must be removed and, if desired, decorative components should be placed on the material. To fix the decor, you can cover the material with pulp.

Use a sponge to remove moisture from the workpiece. The finished paper can be placed on laid out pieces of fabric or left on the grid. It also needs to be covered with newspaper. To make the paper surface smooth, it can be placed under a press.

You can experiment to get sheets of different colors and densities. This will eliminate the need to buy cardboard for creativity.

Autumn leaf topiary

From autumn leaves you can make a luxurious topiary or a tree of happiness. To begin with, take thin food foil or plain paper, form a fairly large lump from it and tie it with threads to fix the round shape.

Using a glue gun, attach this ball to a wooden stick or a flat, dry branch.

In a disposable cup, thickly dilute the plaster and immerse our topiary preparation in it.

When the plaster hardens, cut off the free edges of the cup. Let’s start covering the ball with autumn leaves and fruits.

The brighter the materials used, the more spectacular the craft will be. All that remains is to wrap the cup with thick paper or cloth, disguise the plaster at the base of the tree with the same leaves or cones, and decorate it with a bow. Ready!

Open a collection point and find other sources of raw materials

Recycling as a business is possible provided that a separate collection process is established. In Moscow and other regions, a reform is being introduced to increase the volume of recycled raw materials. To do this, you need to sort the waste into containers with markings: for plastic, paper and cardboard, glass, etc. To arrange the supply of waste paper, you should consider different possibilities for obtaining it:

• retail outlets and networks;
• office centers;
• bazaars;
• catering establishments;
• warehouses;
• educational institutions (a lot of waste paper is generated in schools, universities, colleges).

Cut out an oval from soft blue paper. This will be the basis of the craft. Glue leaves on top. They must first be dried or kept under “press” for several days. You can speed up the drying process. To do this, place the sheets between two book pages and iron them. Start gluing all the leaves from top to bottom to create a forest effect, dry the glue.

Glue the base with leaves to yellow paper or cardboard. You can also take light green color. Glue colorful birds on top or draw them with a black marker. Decorate the picture with flowers. Cut them out of double-sided paper. Cut 3 strips with a width of 1 cm, cut them into a “fringe”.

To create a leaf, prepare green double-sided paper, make strips with a width of ½ cm. Wind them tightly onto a stick, release what you twist and you will get a curl. Use your fingers to squeeze the curl to form a leaf shape, secure with glue. Glue leaves and flowers.

Select a wooden frame, sand it thoroughly, coat it with clear varnish so that it does not darken over time. Use textured fabric or burlap as a background. A glue gun is suitable for fixing. Once it warms up, apply it in small droplets.

On the panel, glue drops will be completely invisible. Dry the oranges in advance. Make several longitudinal cuts in them, place them on a baking sheet and dry them in the oven for 10 hours, setting a low temperature of 60-70 degrees. Ready-made dried oranges can be purchased at a florist shop. Oranges with cinnamon will not only be a wonderful decoration for your craft, but will also give it a pleasant aroma.

In any florist store you will find artificial apples. Instead, you can also use hawthorn berries, rowan berries, and artificial mushrooms. To create a picture you will need leaves of 3-4 colors (red, yellow, orange, green). They must have approximately the same texture in order to look cohesive.

So, straighten the hardboard sheet. Stretch the fabric you plan to use as a background over it. Secure with thread or glue. Glue the leaves in the center. Add cinnamon sticks and birch bark. Glue the cinnamon parallel to the leaves. Glue dried oranges at the bottom of the composition.

Apply a thick layer of acrylic paint to a watercolor sheet. Prepare all 6 sheets in the same way. As soon as the leaves are dry, you can proceed to the next stages of work. Apply liquid nails to the back of the watercolor sheets and press firmly onto the primed canvas.

Decide on the blank for the future craft. Cut out a square from paper. The workpiece must be voluminous. Glue the leaves with glue. Young creators will happily complete this stage. You can use different types of leaves, fixing them on each other.

Let the craft dry. To do this, you can put them under a press. You can use leaves as a press. Secure the hats with a glue gun. Apply a second coat of varnish. It is better to perform this stage in a ventilated area so that the varnish fumes do not harm your health.

The panel you made will decorate any room. It can be hung in the kitchen, bedroom, living room or children’s room. It will depend on what you depict on it. The leaves can be supplemented with dried or fresh berries, acorns, pine cones, blades of grass, dried mushrooms, and citrus fruits.

Glue the sun onto the adhesive film. Cut out the sun along the contour. The inside of the sun consists of an adhesive film onto which we attach the leaves.

Cover the sun with leaves with a layer of adhesive film. Cut out the adhesive film again along the contour. The wall herbarium is ready! You can glue inscriptions on it with the names of the trees whose leaves were used in the craft.

Leaves can be glued onto transparent film and made into an original autumn panel.

Paraphrase for craftswomen

Oshibana, or in other words painting with plants, is the ancient art of creating picturesque paintings without the use of paints. The paintings are created by applying dried plants, that is, natural paints from nature. The modern name for oshibana is pressed floristry.

Pressed floristry originated in Japan about 6 centuries ago. This art was exclusively mastered by samurai. They believed that creating paintings from dried plants helps to gain confidence, achieve peace of mind and learn to comprehend harmony in everything. She helped develop concentration, perseverance, patience and observation.

Leaves, flowers, poplar fluff, seeds, grass, tree bark, etc. are usually used as natural materials.

First, this natural material of plant origin is dried under a press. At the same time, it becomes flat and sometimes changes color.

Next, a composition is made from parts of dried plants and glued onto a base of special thick paper, fabric or cardboard.

Sometimes, before applying the material to a paper base, the paper is treated with watercolor paints.

Despite the apparent simplicity of execution, oshibana is not just appliqués made of dried leaves and flowers. oshibana is a real art, deeper and more meaningful than just a children’s craft.

The master created a picture from pressed flowers in a state of total presence – “satori”. Later, the compiled image could serve as a key, a kind of guide for those who were ready to silently experience the very sensations of the author. Therefore, we can say that for samurai who learned the path of a warrior, oshibana was an integral part of life, just like writing hieroglyphs.

The fragility of dried flowers required the development of certain techniques to preserve the unusual natural material. To prevent the works of this original oriental art from fading in the sun and darkening, Japanese masters began to “pump out” the air between the glass and the painting, creating a vacuum that prevents the plants from deteriorating.

Dried flowers for miniatures using the oshibana technique can be selected and purchased in special dried flower stores. But needless to say, for a true master it is much more pleasant to compose pictures from herbs and flowers prepared independently.

To prepare natural material, only fully bloomed flowers that have gained color and shape are collected. It is important to remember that the plants must be dry. If the flowers are nevertheless collected in rainy weather or early in the morning, when the dew has not yet dried, they must certainly be laid out on a flat surface and dried for several hours.

Under the press, the flowers are laid out on newspapers with good porosity of the paper sheet so that natural moisture escapes well during the drying process. That is, glossy magazine pages are unlikely to be suitable for these purposes.

Wildflowers and roses dry faster than other plants – only 2-3 days. However, their color can be preserved under the right storage conditions for decades.

In addition to dried flowers, the master of oshibana art uses thick paper, a stationery knife and a mock-up mat.

Flower petals and various blades of grass are laid out on paper. Using a special pattern, birch bark is cut and a composition is drawn up, then the intended image is cut out. When the drawing is drawn up, it is fixed using a special film.

Candlesticks can be glued together from thin papyrus paper. Autumn leaves will give the candlesticks a unique charm.

Roses from autumn leaves

Our favorite fall craft is leaf roses. We use fresh leaves that are still easy to fold and do not tear. Fold the sheet in half.

Then cut in half again.

And carefully twist it, forming the core of the rose. We tie the twisted leaves with a thread.

We cover this core with the remaining leaves, forming a flower. We fix the “petals” with thread. We will get a neat flower head.

But the most interesting thing will happen after the leaves dry. They will twist in different directions, and the rose will look like a real one!
